***UPDATED ON SUNDAY, OCTOBER 21 AT 4:20 P.M.***

NewsChannel 6 confirmed that a man was arrested in connection to the homicide on South Kensington Drive.  We have also learned that investigators believe he is connected to a second death investigation. 31-year-old Antonio Armour was arrested Friday afternoon.  He is charged in connection to the suspicious death that happened Thursday night on South Kensington Drive.  That’s where 73-year-old Esau Royal was found dead in his home.  Armour is also believed to be connected to the death of Ashley Knowles at Red Roof Inn.   We are working to find out more about the second case.  Stay tuned to NewsChannel 6 for more on this developing story.

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide on South Kensington Drive.

The Coroner’s Office says that it happened at a residence on the 3400 Block. 

Coroner Mark Bowen says that 73-year-old Esau Royal was found in his residence by family. Royal was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim will be sent to the GBI Crime Lab for an autopsy.

During the investigation, officers found that Royal’s car, a 2008 Chrysler 300 was stolen from his home during the incident. It has since been located.

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office and Coroner’s Office are investigating.
