SC DOT electronic signs changed

CSRA News

SOUTH CAROLINA (WJBF) — You’ve probably noticed electronic signs along the highway in South Carolina with messages about COVID-19.

Now the message has changed, no longer urging drivers to “Go home and stay home.”

Secretary of Transportation Christy Hall says the messages change to grab the attention of drivers and different ones can appear in different parts of the state.

She also says that we can expect to see more messages as the pandemic continues.
