DENMARK, S.C. (WJBF) — You’ll soon have your chance to give officials ideas to help stop crime in Denmark, South Carolina.
The Denmark City Council will hold a public hearing to receive comments, recommendations, and ideas to assist in reducing violent crime in the area.
The hearing will take place on Thursday, April 18, 2019, at 6 p.m. at the Walter E Brooker Center. The building is located at the corner of Butler Street and South Maple Avenue.
We’re told refreshments will be served.
The meeting comes following several incidents in the area including the shooting death of a local college student.
