#UPDATE|6:15am| April 16th, 2020 (WJBF) – One person is dead after an hours long standoff.
The call came in around 8:30 Wednesday night to the Super 8 Hotel on Washington Road near I-20.
When police arrived, 39 year old Goldie Bellinger of Williston was barricaded inside.
SWAT shot Bellinger at least once – and he was pronounced dead just after midnight.
No other details have been released.
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – Richmond County deputies and a SWAT team are on the scene after receiving a call regarding a barricaded subject.
The call came in around 8:33 P.M. Deputies and SWAT responded to the Super 8 on the 3000 block of Washington Road.
There is no other information available at this time.
