#UPDATE (10:15 a.m., May 20, 2020) – The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is asking for any information in reference to homicide victim, Jalen Parks.

The incident occurred on May 2, 2020 on the 2300 Block of Windsor Spring Rd.
Any information would be appreciated and callers can remain anonymous.

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – The Richmond County Coroner’s Office reports it is investigating the shooting death of 23-year-old Jalen Parks of the 2000 block Canada Drive. Parks was shot at least one time on the 2300 block Windsor Spring Road. He was taken to Augusta University Medical Center by EMS, where he died just before 5 o’clock. Parks will have an autopsy at the GBI Lab.

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – NewsChannel 6 has learned that one person has been shot in Augusta. Richmond County dispatch confirms the incident happened at the Get N Go gas station, located at the corner of Rosier and Windsor Spring Roads. It happened just after 2:30 p.m.
