Update, September 21, 2023 – On August 14th, the Grovetown Police Department Criminal Investigation Division executed a search warrant at a residence on the 4000 blk of Rosedale Place in reference to an investigation pertaining to Child Pornography.
During the investigation, Grovetown Investigators with the GBI Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task force received information that 40-year-old Eric Longacre was involved in the Possession of Child Pornography.
Longacre was taken into custody several electronic devices were seized.
The investigation revealed that Longacre had multiple videos and files containing child pornography.
He’s charged with 3 counts of Possession of Child Pornography.
The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are forthcoming.
COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. (WJBF) – One man is in jail after being arrested allegedly for sexual exploitation of children.
According to the Grovetown Police Department, Eric Allen Longacre, 50, was arrested for three counts of Sexual Exploitation of Children.
According to authorities, Longacre is being held without bond at the Columbia County Detention Center.
