Richmond County investigators are on the scene of death in South Augusta.
A man, in his late 20’s, is the victim of the crime—with the apparent cause of death due to what is being called a “physical altercation”.
Deputies say that when they arrived, the two men, who were working on remodeling the apartments, were in an altercation and that when they were separated, one man became unresponsive.
CPR was performed until EMS arrived. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
There was no gun or stabbing weapon found on the scene.
The other person has been taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
