Diamond Lakes Elementary students learn coding for Hour of Code

HEPHZIBAH, Ga. (WJBF) – Diamond Lakes Elementary School hosted “Hour of Code” as a part of International Computer Science Education Week.

Students engaged in several computer science interactive activities including coding, Minecraft, and robotics.

“To teach them a track for later on in life with computer science skills, I want them to be successful, I want them to be the employer, not the employees,” said Annettea Mill, a Technology instructor at the school.
