Davidson and A. R. Johnson nationally recognized for high achievements

Augusta, GA (WJBF)  High recognition for two of Richmond County’s best performing schools, earning national recognition.

US News & World Report has ranked Davidson Fine Arts Magnet School and A.R. Johnson Health Science and Engineering Magnet School among the best public schools in Georgia with Davidson ranking #3 and A.R. Johnson ranking #12.

In a press release issued by the Richmond County School System, superintendent Dr. Angela Pringle says “As a system, we continue to march toward excellence and I am extremely proud of Davidson and A.R. Johnson for leading the way.  This honor not only recognizes the high level of academic rigor at both schools, but also is a testament to the efforts of our administrators, teachers, students, and parents to create a world-class learning environment.”

Both schools are known for their high testing scores in reading, math, and college readiness.  The two public schools are also known for having 100% graduation of all of their seniors.
