Augusta, Ga (WJBF) Efforts by the Georgia legislature to restrict voting are being opposed by Augusta commissioners.
City leaders approved a resolution against six proposed senate bills designed to put limits on activities like early voting and absentee ballots.
The resolution says these bill and another other legislation aimed at restricting access would be a burden to Augusta voters.
The vote was unanimous.
