NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WJBF) – A civil rights lawsuit filed against the leaders of North Augusta has been dismissed.
Michael Allen Jackson sat in jail for nearly two years, charged with a crime that he didn’t commit.
In 2018, a shooting killed 19-year-old Daquan Bostic in North Augusta and Johnson was arrested.
The lawsuit stated there was evidence Johnson wasn’t the shooter.
His charges were dismissed.
