Back to work when it comes to the depot project.
Commissioners changed course, rescinding 11 conditions they approved for the developer including the must guarantee of building the entire $93 million dollar project, not just the first phase.
The administrator recommended those provisions to protect the city’s investment.
But commissioners must still give final approval, before the city’s $14 million dollars goes into the project.
“It still comes back before the commission and those 11 items that the administrator had requesting information on that should be resolved at that point before we proceed forward,” says Commissioner Wayne Guilfoyle.
The commission voted to rescind the development conditions over the objection of the city administrator.
