BURKE COUNTY, Ga. (WJBF) – Burke County Sheriff, Alfonzo Williams, shared a video on the department’s Facebook page Saturday afternoon.
In the video, Sheriff Williams says that there were a number of private citizens that expressed concerns. He says those citizens raised $22,000 to cover the cost of the promotions that were implemented in July.
He says the money will be used solely for that purpose.
