Boil water advisory lifted for Jackson, South Carolina

JACKSON, S.C. (WJBF) — A boil water advisory for Jackson, Soth Carolina has been lifted.

The following locations were included in the notice: 

  • Goodman Estates Area including:
  • Goodman Rd.
  • Plantation Rd.
  • Hidden Springs Rd.
  • Foreman Rd.
  • Granview Rd.
  • Customers between Redcliffe Elementary School and Silver Bluff Road on Atomic Road.

A loss of pressure caused by water improvement project construction caused the advisory is to be issued.

Bacteriological samples were collected and analyzed by the Town. “The results of this sampling indicate that the system is safe to use for drinking and cooking purposes,” officials said.
