The clock is ticking for Columbia County’s newest charter school after the state Attorney General’s office said they’ve received several complaints from parents.

The office says SAIL’s school board violated the Open Meetings Act.

They say during a September 21st meeting, they didn’t take a public vote before firing the school’s superintendent Kristy Zgol.

They also said the board conducted the meeting by teleconference which goes against the open meetings act.

The office gave the school 10 days to provide a response.
