Apartment complex in flames due to an early morning fire on Rosier Road

THE LATEST: Richmond County Public Information Officer, Michael Myers, says the fire that sparked an early morning apartment fire was accidental and nothing suspicious.

It broke out about 5:30 a.m. at the Salem Arms Apartments on the 2200 block of Rosier Road. 

At least one unit was damaged.

No injuries reported.

According to Richmond County dispatch, there has been a fire on 2243 Rosier Road. 

The fire happened around 5:26 a.m. Tuesday morning.

At this time we have no word of injuries or if the fire is fully engulfed.
