ALLENDALE, S.C. (WJBF) — An Allendale, South Carolina man is facing a murder charge following an incident in August.
Courdell Dejaun Loadholt, 32, is charged with murder.
A warrant reveals on August 30, 2019, while in the area of Gum Street and Barton Road, Loadholt fired a gun, striking Michael Bethea several times. Bethea was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Loadholt was arrested on Tuesday, October 22. He’s currently in the Allendale County Jail.
The SLED investigation was requested by the Allendale Police Department.
Meanwhile, the case will be prosecuted by the 14th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
