The City of Aiken has a new city manager.

Monday night, Interim Manager Stuart Bedenbaugh was approved for the position.

He’s served as Assistant City Manager since 2011 but took over in February when former City Manager John Klimm resigned.

His one year contract comes with a salary of $130-thousand dollars.
