SARDIS, Ga. (WJBF) – The Burke County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a crash on Highway 23.
It happened around 2 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.
Investigators say 2 people were in a car when they left the roadway, rolled several times and both were ejected.
One person was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay.
The driver, Harry ‘Bruce’ Redd Jr., was taken to Burke Medical Center for treatment. He was pronounced dead at 3:08 p.m.
