ALLENDALE COUNTY, S.C. (WJFB) – An investigation is underway in Allendale County, South Carolina following a fight at a local high school.

A parent sent us three videos of the incident that took place on Monday, February 4 at Allendale-Fairfax High School.

In the video, you can see multiple people were involved.  At one point, one student was dragged across the floor.

NewsChannel 6’s Shawn Cabbagestalk did try reaching out to the Allendale Police Department, the Allendale County Sheriff’s Office, and the Allendale County School District to get a statement on the incident.

While we are still waiting to hear from authorities, the school district provided the following statement:

An incident involving 12 students fighting occurred at Allendale-Fairfax High School. Administrators and law enforcement responded immediately and students involved were disciplined accordingly. Allendale County Schools has a zero-tolerance policy for any threats to school safety. This incident, as are all incidents that affect the safety and security of our schools, was taken very seriously and addressed immediately.
