Deadly Columbus club shooting leaves one dead

COLUMBUS, Ga. - A 47-year-old man is dead after a shooting at a Columbus club Saturday night, according to Columbus police. Bobby Ray Stewart succumbed to his injuries Sunday morning at Midtown Medical Center.

Around 11:40p et Saturday night, officers responded to The Supper Club on Buena Vista road. Arriving officers found Stewart suffering from a gunshot wound. Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan says his body will be taken to Atlanta Monday for an autopsy.

There are no known suspects at this time

The deadly shooting marks the fourth homicide in just three days. The bodies of 32-year-old Rosella Mitchell and her 6-month-old boy Dylan Conner, were found in a back bedroom of their Winifred Lane home after a fire early Thursday morning. Their deaths are now being considered homicides. On Thursday night, 16-year-old Christopher Jones was shot to death after a reported shootout with an unknown individual. Two teens, who were passengers in the car at the time, are being charged with murder.

Sunday's homicide marks the nineteenth this year.
