Miracle Treat Day, a Children's Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals fundraiser, is being held all day Thursday at CSRA Dairy Queen locations.
A portion of the sale of every Blizzard frozen treat on Miracle Treat Day at the 10 CSRA locations will benefit programs and services at the Children's Hospital of Georgia (CHOG), the local CMN Hospital.
In 2013, participating CSRA Dairy Queens raised more than $12,389 for CHOG. Proceeds from this year's Miracle Treat Day will go towards the purchase of special, new lighting equipment to treat babies with jaundice.
CHOG patients will help make and serve Blizzards for customers at the following times and locations on Thursday:
3:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. - Milla Mooney will be at the 2837 Central Avenue location.
4 to 4:30 p.m. - Michele Lundy will be at the 3149 Washington Road location.
