Aiken County, S.C. -
South Aiken High School is giving back to children in the Palmetto State.
The school presented a check to Make-A-Wish South Carolina on June 6 to the amount of more than $5,300. Students, faculty and staff raised the money in April through a wish-week campaign. Trusted Choice was also on hand to match that donation.
Make-A-Wish also presented an award to the school for 10 years of support to the organization. During that decade, South Aiken High has raised $70,000 to help grant wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions.
