BEND, Ore. -
A wedding was about to begin in Bend, Oregon on Saturday, but before the ceremony began, brush fires turned into a huge wildfire about six miles away.
According to ABC News, firefighters arrived on the scene and said they had to evacuate, so everyone in attendance relocated to a nearby park following the ceremony.
While the guests, caterers, and DJ moved to the new location, newlyweds Michael Wolber and April Hartley snuck back to the scene with their photographer, Josh Newton, to take some wedding photos with the wildfire as the background.
The wildfire has since grown to consume 6,000 acres of land and, while residents were worried, the couple used the wildfire as a reminder to appreciate the special moments in life.
