A woman who fell asleep on a set of railroad tracks was not injured when a train passed over her Wednesday morning, Auburn police said.

Lynsey Horne, 22, of Salem avoided serious injury by the train, said police.

Authorities say the train that passed over the woman's body was composed of two engines and a car according to our sister station WRBL-TV.

Horne was taken to the East Alabama Medical Center for an evaluation.

Horne, an Auburn graduate, is a writer for a non-profit group and a waitress at an Irish pub in Opelika, Alabama, according to her Facebook profile.

Horne is being held in the Lee County Detention Facility after being charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
