72-Year-Old Wanted For Burglary, Using Stolen Checks

The Richmond County Sheriff's Office is looking for a 72-year-old suspect who is wanted for burglary and using stolen checks.
The burglary happened at 320 Whitney Place, in Augusta.
Investigators tell us, during the course of this investigation, it was learned that four personal checks had been stolen from the residence then presented at the SunTrust Bank, located at 2901 Washington Road, in Augusta.
Richmond County Sheriff’s Office investigators were successful in positively identifying the suspect and have since secured arrest warrants for 72-year-old Robert Joseph Ryal, who is described as being a white male. The arrest warrants are for Burglary in the 1st Degree and Forgery in the 3rd Degree.
Ryal was last seen operating a blue 1999 Dodge Dakota pickup, with South Carolina tag JUC 147.
