According to a Florida Highway Patrol report Fenton was traveling west on Keystone Rd. just east of Lora Lane when he lost control of his 2008 Ford pick-up truck. The truck, which was traveling at a high rate of speed, left the roadway and wound up on the north shoulder before it overturned several times.

The incident occurred just after 7:30 p.m. the report states.

The vehicle came to rest in the water with the driver’s side partially submerged. Richard Glenn saw the truck in the pond and stopped his vehicle to lend assistance to Fenton. Several other passers-by also stopped to render aid.

Investigators say Fenton was trapped in the truck below the water line. Glenn managed to keep Fenton’s head above water until emergency personnel arrived. The victim was extracted and prepared for transportation to St. Joe’s.

Fenton was issued a citation for careless driving.

It sounds like a wild fabrication: A spitting cobra, being prepared for a dish in a restaurant in southern China, bit and killed a chef 20 minutes after its head had been chopped off.

The may look fluffy and cute, but these caterpillars are anything but. Under all that fur on the puss caterpillar are venomous bristles that break off into the skin when touched by humans and cause serious pain.
