GreenJackets Game Suspended Due to Rain

Augusta, GA--The Augusta GreenJackets (7-4) started their second home stand against the Savannah Sand Gnats (7-3) only to have the second half of the game suspended due to heavy rain on Monday night. 

Left handed pitcher Christian Jones has a no hitter through five innings. Jones (0-1) has seven strikeouts and only walked one man. 

In the bottom of the fifth inning, Leonardo Rojas has a double through the hole at second. With one out and Rojas on second, the game is suspended. 

The rest of tonight’s game will be completed tomorrow at 5:30 PM. Gates open at 5:00 PM. The second game will follow immediately after. 

Tickets from tonight’s game can be exchanged for any future GreenJackets home game in 2014, for equal or lesser value. Any future Monday exchange will incur a $4.00 “Feed Your Face” charge. 

GreenJackets continue their homestand tomorrow with Service Industry Night and SweetWater’s Two-for-Tuesday. Fans can enjoy two-for-one pricing on regular Coca-Cola products and all draft beers throughout the ballpark.
