UPDATED ON 6: Description Of 2nd Vehicle In Deadly Hit-And-Run Released

We now know the description of a second vehicle involved in a deadly April 12th hit-and-run in Augusta.

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is currently searching for a dark colored Chevy Impala driven by a male only identified as “Black”. This is suspect vehicle #2. The year of the Impala and the exact color of the Impala is unknown at this time.

Zykeith Harris, 14, was killed after being hit by three different vehicles. Another juvenile was injured and taken to Georgia Regents Medical Center. At this time, his condition is not known.

Investigators say the drivers of all three vehicles left the scene.

One of the other cars is described as being a 1993-1997 Toyota Corolla. The vehicle will have front end and driver side damage. The driver's side headlight lens will be damaged along with the driver’s side view mirror. The Toyota emblem will also be missing from the front area of the vehicle. The vehicle may have aftermarket gold trim around the base of it.

The description of the third car has not been released.

There is a cash reward being offered for information leading to the arrests of the drivers involved.

The Richmond County Sheriff's Office is now offering a cash reward for anyone having information on the driver of the hit and run vehicle and/or the vehicle.

Anyone with knowledge of the incident is asked to call .Callers may call the below listed numbers and may remain anonymous.

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Safety Division is currently investigating a deadly hit-and-run crash that happened Saturday, at 11:39.p.m. on Gordon Highway.

Two juvenile pedestrians were reportedly attempting to cross the eastbound lanes of the 1400 block of Gordon Highway, between Old Savannah Road and Doug Barnard Parkway, when they were both struck by a vehicle.

The vehicle that struck the juveniles failed to stop. Zykeith Harris, 14, was then struck by two additional vehicles who also failed to stop. He was pronounced deceased at the scene, and the other juvenile was transported to Georgia Regents Medical Center for serious injuries.

At this time, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a 1993-1997 Toyota Corolla. The vehicle will have front end and driver side damage. The Traffic Division is currently working to identify the other two vehicles that were involved.

A teenager is dead, and another is receiving treatment for serious injuries after being hit by a vehicle Saturday night in Augusta.

Around 11:37 p.m., Richmond County Sheriff's Office deputies,  responded to the intersection of Gordon Highway and Dan Bowles Road.

Zykeith Harris, 14, was pronounced dead at 12:20 a.m. Sunday morning on the 1400 block of Gordon Highway, according to Richmond County Chief Deputy Coroner Kenneth Boose.

We are told the second victim is receiving medical treatment for serious injuries at Georgia Regents Medical Center.

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is now asking the for the public’s assistance in identifying the unknown vehicle and driver that struck the two teens. If you have any information on the incident, please contact the Richmond County Sheriff's Office.
