Augusta, GA - Three people were taken into custody Saturday after a methamphetamine lab bust in Augusta.

A Richmond County Sheriff's Office spokesperson tells us the busts took place on Heckle Street.

Investigators tell us they've been watching the home for several months, and raided the home acting on a tip from an informant.

When deputies arrived, they say they found two men and one woman hiding in the home.

Investigators tell us they seized paraphernalia used to make methamphetamine and about an ounce of the drug.

We are told no children were inside the home.

The three suspects names are below. All three have been charged with VGCSA Manufacturing Methamphetamine and Trafficking Methamphetamine.
  • Mitchell Perry Pelham, 47, of Martinez
  • Nancy Susan Wood, 63, of Augusta
  • James Ted Tedder, 42, of Augusta
This investigation is still ongoing, according to investigators.
