TAMPA, FL (WFLA) -

A mock funeral and roast was held Thursday night in Tampa as The Cowhead Show prepares to be born again with a new name.

102.5 The Bone radio host Mike "Cowhead" Calta faced an onslaught of abuse from comedians including Jim Norton, Greg Fitzsimmons, and Johnny B. The event took place at 7:30 p.m. at the T. Pepin Hospitality Center.

As well as a roast, the night included a mock funeral, complete with wreaths, as the name "The Cowhead Show" was laid to rest.

The program will henceforth be known as The Mike Calta Show.
