Augusta, GA - One woman is in jail after allegedly stabbing her live-in boyfriend, according to Richmond County Sheriff Office deputies.

Deputies responded around 9:30 Wednesday night to a domestic dispute call on the 4500 block of Etterlee Road, which is off of Deans Bridge Road, in Augusta.

Deputies say when they arrived on the scene, they found Patrick Ford standing in the roadway covered in blood. Ford had been stabbed by Shelley Coleman in his right hand and upper chest.

Ford was transported to the Georgia Regents Medical Center for treatment, and officials say his injuries were non-life threatening.

Coleman is being charged with Aggravated Assault.
