9-year-old Owen Plasman has been battling cancer for the past year and although Owen is in remission now, he, along with his family are in the hearts of many in the Pee Dee.
"I think that Owen has become the son of everyone in Florence," said Gillian Plasman, Owen's mother.
In January, people gathered at the Southern Hops bar in Florence for the "January Jam for Owen." Live music was on tap, along with face painting, auctions, and the chance to donate.
Now, Owen has gotten his wish from the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which gives sick children a chance to do something they only could dream of.
Owen chose visiting World Wrestling Entertainment and seeing some of its wrestlers, including WWE Superstar John Cena.
Recently, Owen went to WrestleMania 30 in New Orleans along with several other children.
Owen met Big Show and Sheamus at New Orleans' Hard Rock Cafe, where he enjoyed dinner, and was greeted by the Superstars, received autographs and posed for photos.
The next day, the honorees and their families enjoyed the aquatic sights at the Audubon Aquarium and their very own private Domino's pizza party with Divas Champion AJ Lee and Rey Mysterio.
After AJ and Mysterio's visit, the children were delighted by the arrival of another surprise guest, Make-A-Wish's most requested celebrity wish granter, John Cena.
At the pizza party, Owen as inducted into WWE's Circle of Champions. He was called up to the stage where he received personalized plaques from Cena and took photos with the special guest who has granted more than 400 wishes and counting.
The next day was WrestleMania 30.
It's another moment in Owen's young life that he'll always remember.
