Deputies Risk Their Lives to Save Homeowners From Fire

Aiken County, SC - Two people in Aiken County are alive today thanks to the heroic actions of a couple of law enforcement officers.
According to the Aiken County Sheriff,  Deputies Kenneth Lively and Nicholas Lott risked their own lives when they went inside a smoke filled home during an early morning fire.
The fire on Piper Road broke out around four a-m.
The deputies found the homeowners on the second floor and lead them to safety.
 Both of the occupants are being treated for smoke inhalation.
