We have a traffic advisory for Saturday to let you know about.
Proctor and Gamble (P&G) has been remodeling and constructing new buildings on their property, and part of their new renovations include the demolishing of the taller building located on the far right of the main building, which faces Highway 56 (Mike Padgett Highway).
The demolition crew will tear down the building Saturday morning between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.
For safety reasons, Highway 56 between Marvin Griffin Road and Phinizy Road will be closed during that time by the Richmond County Sheriff's Office.
The main concern is the loud noise and possible dust cloud that may follow the tearing down of the building.
