McCandless, PA -

Police arrested a 40-year-old Pennsylvania mother after she called 911 to report she dragged her two unconscious boys out of the tub.  Police say Laurel Schlemmer put her 7-year-old on the bus and then told her other sons, Luke, 3, and Daniel, 6, to get in the tub filled with water.

Detectives said she told them 'crazy voices' told her to sit on the children in a bathtub. Schlemmer also reportedly said she "thought she could be a better mother" to her oldest son "if the other two boys weren't around," according to the court documents.

Luke died and Daniel is in critical condition. Investigators said her wet clothes were found in a trash bag. She didn't attempt CPR on the boys.

She's charged with criminal homicide, aggravated assault and child endangerment.

The Daily News reports Schlemmer was given a citation in 2009 for leaving a toddler unattended in a parked car that reached a sweltering 112 degrees.  The child was ok and she was ordered to pay a fine.
