TAMPA, FL (WFLA) -
After a line of heavy storms moved through Tampa Bay area Saturday afternoon, a few households reported power outages, according to Tampa Electric outage map.
According to the TECO website, about 523 customers in North Tampa, and more than 1700 customers in Seffner area are reportedly without power Saturday afternoon. According to the map, an animal came to contact with the equipment near Odessa which caused 579 customers to lose power as well.
TECO crews fixed the outages by about 7 p.m.
A few streets in South Tampa were flooded after the rains moved through. The corner of South Dale Mabry Highway and Neptune Street was under a few inches of water causing traffic issues Saturday evening.
A tree fell on a fence in Palm Harbor after gusty winds in the area. There is no information about how much damage it has done yet.
