Augusta, GA -
The Richmond County Sheriff's Office is warning people about scalping badges to the Masters.
Augusta National has its own policy that doesn't allow for the reselling of badges, but it's not something the sheriff's office can enforce.
The law deputies enforce is a state law about how far away you have to be from the entrance to the Augusta National in order to buy or sell tickets.
"You can buy it and sell it at any amount. There are just restrictions where you can do that at and one of the restrictions is that you cannot be within 2700 feet of the golf course," said Captain Scott Gay of the Richmond County Sheriff's Office.
