The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a man they say was involved in a March 8th shooting on Dudley Drive, in Warrenville.
Investigators obtained arrest warrants for 31-year-old Christopher Lamont Thomas for Attempted Murder, Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime, and Possession of a Firearm by a Person Convicted of a Violent Felony.
In the early morning hours of March 8th, Aiken County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a shooting that occurred at 145 Dudley Drive. When deputies arrived on the scene, they found Thomas and James Milton with apparent gunshot wounds.
The initial investigation revealed that a domestic dispute between Thomas and his live-in girlfriend occurred at the incident location. Thomas reportedly left and returned with a gun and then reportedly shot Milton. Milton reportedly defended himself by shooting back.
Both men were transported to Georgia Regents Medical Center for treatment of their injuries.
After completing the investigation, investigators determined that Thomas was the aggressor. If anyone has any information on the whereabouts of Thomas, they are encouraged to call the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office at 803-648-6811 or Crime Stoppers of the Midlands at 888-CRIME-SC (888-274-6372).
