UPDATED ON 6: Three People Arrested In Connection To Shooting At Burke County Party

On Monday the Burke County Sheriff's Office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) arrested three suspects in connection with a shooting that occurred Sunday at 4960 Highway 80 West.

Tacorey Lamon Lakes, 19, Brandell Shaquael Little, 19, and a 16-year-old juvenile are each charged with five counts of Aggravated Assault and Possession of Firearm During the Commission of a Crime.

The Burke County Sheriff's Office and the GBI are continuing the investigation and expect more arrest in the case. The Burke County Sheriff's Office is asking that anyone with information concerning this investigation to call the Burke County Sheriff's Office at 706-554-2133, or the GBI Office at 706-595-2575.

The victims of a weekend shooting in Burke County have now been identified.

Special Agent In Charge Patrick Morgan, of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI), tells us the shooting happened early Sunday morning, and Burke County Sheriff's Office deputies responded at 1:43 a.m. to a shooting that occurred at 4960 Highway 80 West in Waynesboro.

When deputies arrived on the scene, they found that several individuals people had been shot while attending a party at the address.

The GBI was requested to assist with the investigation.

The victims have been identified as 21-year-old Darius Smith, 17-year-old Rokeisha Graham, 18-year-old Bromekis Donnie. They were transported to Georgia Regents Medical Center in Augusta for treatment. Shequan Hines, 19, was taken to Burke Medical Center for injuries he sustained during the shooting, and he was released from the hospital early Sunday morning.

Sunday, a fifth victim, 17-year-old Brandon Harold, was transported by family members to Georgia Regents Medical Center for treatment of injuries he sustained during the shooting. Harold was released from the hospital Sunday evening.

The GBI and the Burke County Sheriff's Office are continuing the investigation. The GBI is asking anyone with information concerning this investigation to call the Burke County Sheriff's Office at 706-554-2133 or the GBI Office at 706-595-2575.

A shooting investigation continues in Burke County, Georgia.

Four people were shot.  Investigators tell News Channel 6 the call came in around 1:30 Sunday morning after a party.  It happened on Highway 80. 

The victims were taken to the hospital.   One of them has been released as of 5:08 Sunday afternoon.  Investigators tell News Channel 6 they have suspects, but they have not arrested anybody yet.  

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is on the case and we will bring you more information as it comes in .
