Suspect arrested in connection with fatal shooting in Raleigh

RALEIGH, N.C. -

A suspect has been arrested and charged in connection with a fatalshooting Friday night on Fox Road.

Police say officers were dispatched to the 7500 block of FoxRoad around 9:15 p.m. Friday in response to a shooting.

Police say officers found Justin Ryan Lee, 36, lying in theroadway with a gunshot wound to the head. He was declared dead at the scene.

Based on a description of the suspect, who witnesses saidfled on foot, Raleigh Police officers were able to locate and arrest ShawnLamont Williams, 33, in the vicinity of the shooting.

Williams was charged with murder in connection with theshooting. He is being held at the Wake County Detention Center without bond.

Police do not believe the shooting was a random act.
