Ellen set the re-tweet record at the oscars last week with more than 3 million people retweeting a photo. Terry Shipman is trying to break that record by tweeting a picture of himself and his two dogs. The 65-year-old structural engineer sent the tweet three days ago. If you want to help him reach his goal, his handle is "at terry underscore shipman."
A fortune cookie actually lead one woman to a fortune...She's 2-million dollars richer. 75-year-old Emma Duvoll from New York used the numbers she found inside a fortune cookie to pick the numbers on her powerball ticket. Five of those numbers were a match.
It's as if this calf knew he was facing danger. While on the way to a slaughter house....he got away from the herd and ran into a nearby neighborhood. Officials had to chase him for 10 miles....before using a tranquilizer to eventually bring him down.
Here's another attempt to set a world record. At an annual festival called 'Laughfest' hundreds gathered to try to set the new record for the most people wearing sunglasses at night. They are waiting verification by the Guinness Book of World Records. The previous world record is 16-hundred, set in 2012 in Chicago. LaughFest 2014 is underway in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
