Six Flags Over Georgia will open its gates for a record-breaking season on Saturday, March 15th. During opening weekend March 15th and 16th, guests can receive a special admission price during the park's annual food drive to benefit MUST Ministries, a local food pantry.

"This is going to be the most exciting year in the 47-year-history of Six Flags Over Georgia," said Park President Dale Kaetzel. "The addition of Hurricane Harbor, which is the largest expansion in the park's history, will provide our guests with the opportunity to ride our world-class roller coasters and then cool off at our all-new world-class water park. We're also pleased to partner with MUST Ministries once again, to help families in the Atlanta community heading into the summer season."

Guests who donate six or more non-perishable food items on March 15th and 16th to MUST Ministries will receive admission to the park for only $20.14 plus tax. Suggested items to donate include canned ham, chicken, tuna fish, fruit, beef stew, cereal, chili and canned or dried potatoes. A full list of accepted items can be found online at

Hurricane Harbor will also include new food locations, retail stores and cabanas. Construction is well underway and Hurricane Harbor will open for park guests later this spring.

Guests who visit the park on Opening Weekend can get a bird's-eye view of the Hurricane Harbor construction by riding either the Great American Scream Machine or SUPERMAN: Ultimate Flight.
