JACKSONVILLE, FL (WFLA) - A 2-year-old driver received her first traffic ticket on Sunday.

Za
'
Dariah was cruising through the parking lot of her condominium complex, enjoying her brand new convertible for the first time in the warm Florida sunshine when she saw police lights behind her. So she stopped and cooperated with officers.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office was in the area for a criminal investigation, saw the girl and her family and tried to lighten the situation.

According to the girl's uncle, Keyth Mishaw, she keeps telling her mother she wants to pay for the ticket.

Mishaw says the officers made a great impression on the little girl.

"Everyone always has bad things to say about the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, well, I want to say big props to these officers for making a memorable moment for my family," he said.

It's unclear what exactly the ticket is for, as Za'Dariah has colored all over the ticket with crayons.

Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is changing management rules of invasive lionfish to remove them from state waters. Lionfish was introduced to state waters in the 1980s, and since then, populations have boomed in recent years, negatively impacting native wildlife and habitat, the FWC says.
