UPDATED ON 6: Several People Arrested In Connection To Deadly Shooting In Kroger Parking Lot

Two more people have now been arrested in connection to a deadly Thursday night shooting in the parking lot of Kroger on Deans Bridge Road.

Napoleon J. Moss, Jr., 18, of the 3500 block of Kindling Drive, was arrested after turning himself in to the Richmond County Sheriff's Office Monday afternoon. He is charged with Misdemeanor Affray.

Aquil J. Ferrell, 18, of the 2400 block of Emory Hills Drive, was arrested after turning himself in to the Richmond County Sheriff's Office Saturday. He is charged with Misdemeanor Affray.

Several people have been arrested and two more people are still being sought in connection to a deadly shooting in the Deans Bridge Road Kroger parking lot late Thursday night.

Richmond County Sheriff's Office investigators tell us, Thursday night at 11:13 p.m., deputies to the Kroger plaza parking lot at 3128 Deans Bridge Road in reference to a fight with gunshots fired.

Deputies arrived and found the body of 18-year-old Montravious Deshawn McNair (of the 600 block of Dove Point in Covington, Georgia) dead in the parking lot. McNair was found to have been shot.

Karl M. Kelly, 18, (of the 2500 block of Gerbing Road) was also located at Georgia Regents Medical Center seeking treatment for a gunshot wound received during this incident.

Investigators are still investigating this incident and details are not presently being released due to suspects still being sought. The following individuals have been arrested and their charges are listed beside their names:

  • Dequan Blake, 18, of the 3200 block of Alpine Drive, is charged with Felony Murder and Misdemeanor Affray
  • Elevonte J. Cooper, 19, of the 2400 block of Antebellum Drive, is charged with Misdemeanor Affray
  • Cordarius C. Ayers, 19, of the 2200 block of Ward Avenue, is charged with Misdemeanor Affray
  • Daushun J. Ellis, 20, of the 500 block of West Richmond Hill Road, is charged with Misdemeanor Affray
  • Jaques R. Woodard, 19, of the 500 block of Richmond Hill Road West, is charged with Misdemeanor Affray
  • Tydavius Z. Bradley, 19, of the 2300 block of New McDuffie Road, is charged with Misdemeanor Affray
  • Karl M. Kelly, will be charged with Misdemeanor Affray after medical treatment is completed

The following two individuals are still being sought:

  • Napoleon J. Moss, Jr., 18, of the 3500 block of Kindling Drive, is wanted for Misdemeanor Affray
  • Aquil J. Ferrell, 18, of the 2400 block of Emory Hills Drive, is wanted for Misdemeanor Affray

During the Homicide investigation, individuals involved were also found to have been involved in a Home Invasion on March 4th at 3211 Wrightsboro Road. In that incident The following individuals were charged with the following charges:

  • Samoney Tanksley, 15, of the 2800 block of Bennington Drive, is charged as an adult with Armed Robbery
  • Keoshamine L. Tanksley, 18, of the 2800 block of Bennington Drive, is charged with Armed Robbery
  • Jaques R. Woodard, is charged with Armed Robbery, Burglary, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime and Aggravated Assault
  • Daushun J. Ellis, is charged with Armed Robbery, Burglary, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime and Aggravated Assault
  • Cordarius C. Ayers, is charged with Armed Robbery, Burglary, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime and Aggravated Assault

We now know the name of a man who was gunned down Thursday night in the parking lot of an Augusta grocery story.

He is identified as 19-year-old Montravius Deshawn McNair.

The Richmond County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating the deadly shooting. It happened around 11:30 p.m. Thursday night in the Kroger parking lot on Deans Bridge Road.

McNair died at the scene.

A second shooting victim was transported to Georgia Regents Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the hand.

This is the 4th homicide in Richmond County this year.
