Garner PD look for Wake Co. man accused of assaulting ex-girlfriend

GARNER, N.C. -

Police in Garner are looking for a Wake County man accused of assaulting an ex-girlfriend with a knife.

The incident occurred on March 4 at a home in the 1400 block of Faye Drive.

Police are looking for Perry Michael Wilson, 38. Wilson is accused of using a knife to stab and cut his ex-girlfriend Denique Kearney. Kearney was taken to a hospital with serious injuries where she remains.

Police have charged Wilson with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury and violation of a domestic violence protective order.

Wilson was last seen in the area of the Forest Hills Shopping Center but has home addresses in Raleigh and Wake County.
