Our George Eskola will have more details on the vote and what projects were approved during our Friday evening newscasts.

A cold shoulder is expected as Augusta Commissioners set to meet to discuss the final sales tax project list.

Mayor Deke Copenhaver has called a special meeting Friday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. to discuss and approve a $187 million package to put before voters in May.

Though there's been a series of work sessions, Commissioners had little to no input on the final SPLOST proposal.

Commissioner Donnie Smith predicts the proposal will not pass Friday.

Commissioner Joe Jackson also expressed dissatisfaction with the mayor's proposal.

We will have more on the meeting during our Friday evening newscasts.
