A bond hearing was held for the man charged after a Sue Reynolds Elementary School students was hit at a school bus stop on Belair Road, and later died.

The bond for 20-year-old Scott William Hancock was set at $50,000.

Jaidyn Williams, 8, later died as a result of injuries he sustained in the December 9th incident.

Along with bond, Hancock will have to live with his parents, stay in school with passing grades

and have no contact with the victims' family.  Some of those family members were in the courtroom on Friday

The driver of a van that struck a Sue Reynolds Elementary School student, who later died, at a school bus stop in December has been indicted.

Scott William Hancock, 20, was indicted this week on a felony Homicide by Vehicle in the First Degree charge, and a misdemeanor Reckless Driving charge.

Hancock reportedly hit 8-year-old Jaidyn Williams as he crossed Belair Road to board his school bus on the morning of December 9, 2013.

Hancock is scheduled to appear at a bond hearing on Friday.
