UPDATED ON 6: Investigators Trying to Determine Cause of Backyard Brush Fire

***UPDATED at 2:34 P.M. on Tuesday, February 25th***

Crews on the scene tell WJBF News Channel 6 that the fire is extinguished, but a camper that was fully engulfed in flames is a total loss.

The blaze spread across four backyards in the Hunters Gate subdivision, and damaged a couple of boats and a shed.

Authorities say no one was injured and no homes were damaged.

Investigators are still trying to determine where and how the fire started.

WJBF News channel 6's Mike Miller will have more on the fire during our Tuesday evening newscasts.

WJBF News Channel 6 has learned firefighters are on the scene of a large brush fire in Aiken County on Hunter's Crossing, which is off Old Sudlow Lake Road.

We are told there are several structures being threatened by the fire, and there have been multiple reports of an explosion.

Details are limited, at this time. We have a crew on the way to the scene.

We will provide more details as they become available.
