Making history while playing a game he loves..... Jason Collins became the first openly-gay pro basketball player to hit the court on Sunday. Collins revealed he was gay in a sports illustrated article last season and says he's happy to be the first, but wants to be measured by his ability on the court, not his personal life.
Justin Bieber is house hunting....and those who live in atlanta's affluent buckhead area, say bieber should keep looking....they don't want him in their neighborhood. Residents organized a protest and they've also started a facebook page, which points to his recent drunken driving charge as evidence that his relocation "can be nothing but bad" for their community. No comment so far from biebers reps.
One of the biggest races in the country...the Daytona 500....got the red light, because of heavy rain and a tornado warning. The season opener was stopped after 38 laps Sunday. Track officials also had to evacuate the grandstand. The race is scheduled for 200 laps around the 2.5-mile speedway.
